GodwinGroup Gulf Coast has been named Partner of the Year for the Gulfport School District and the Academic Institutes at Gulfport High School. The awards recognize businesses and individuals who help to further the experiences of Gulfport High School students in real-world working situations outside of school.
GodwinGroup Partner Kami Wert (left) and Vice President Sue Templeman recently accepted the awards on behalf of the agency. The two awards are for work with the Academics Institute, an innovative, career-focused approach based on the 16 national career clusters. Students explore their interests in each of the fields through job shadowing, internships and other real-world experiences to better prepare them for college.
GodwinGroup staffers served on the Communications, Arts and Business group of the Academics Institute, and the agency also designed and produced collateral in support of the Institute.
