Kyle grew up just down the road in Brandon, Mississippi. He earned his Associate of Arts degree at Holmes Community College in 2008 and proceeded to get his Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design at Mississippi State University. Kyle joins our Creative Team as the Art Director. With his skills in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, and affinity for drawing and deadlines, Kyle has already wowed us and our clients with his work.
Kyle was the middle child of two brothers growing up, and traded the two for a very energetic mix-breed dog named Huckleberry. Huckleberry’s namesake is a combination of Doc Holliday from Tombstone (“I’m your Huckleberry”) and the Mark Twain classic, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. An energetic pup fits Kyle’s lifestyle well: a few of his favorite things include being outside, soccer, fishing and running. Kyle tries not to stay bored for too long.
Kyle is confident in his skills, but knows there is always room for improvement. He wanted an agency that offers coworkers the ability to share their talents and who are open and willing to help others grow. Godwin provided just that.
Bet You Didn’t Know…
Who does Kyle look up to? None other than Marty McFly of Back to the Future. Why? Because “there’s no way I’d have ever left the ‘simpler’ times of 1955 and 1885,” he says.
Kyle also was afraid to go upstairs alone in his childhood home, so he would trick his little brother into going with him with a promise to watch him play Super Nintendo. Jokes on you, little brother. Kyle kept your controller unplugged the entire time.
