Philip is past president of the America’s Region of the $2 billion agency affiliate group, MAGNET (Marketing and Advertising Global Network) which represents nearly 40 leading agencies in North and South America and Europe. On the road to his role as CEO of GodwinGroup, he has managed a wide range of long-term planning, marketing and communications projects for such brands as Russell Athletic, Piccadilly Cafeterias, Whataburger and Godfather’s Pizza. He has led brand development and visioning processes for such entities as Windmark Beach, Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham (formerly Baptist Medical Center Montclair) and The Town of Lost Rabbit (a TND project with DPZ). A frequent speaker at professional conferences, Philip has served as an adjunct professor at two colleges and lectured at many universities. He is also a published author of fiction and co-author of Sweet Spot: 125 Years of Baseball and the Louisville Slugger.
