GodwinGroup Named Among Top 100 Private Companies in Mississippi
GodwinGroup was recently named one of Mississippi’s top 100 private companies by the Mississippi Business Journal, the statewide weekly business newspaper. The Mississippi 100, which has been compiled and published by the Mississippi Business Journal since 1989, is the state’s only definitive listing of private businesses and is based on annual sales revenue. This is the fourth year in a row GodwinGroup has received this distinction.
Graves Named One of Mississippi’s 50 Leading Businesswomen
Susan Graves, executive vice president, chief financial officer and partner at GodwinGroup, was selected by the Mississippi Business Journal as one of the 50 Leading Businesswomen for 2012. Recipients of this annual award are among some of the most influential female business leaders and senior decision-makers in Mississippi.
Winners were honored during a two-day retreat at the Hinds Community College Eagle Ridge Conference Center in Raymond. Graves was also named a top ten finalist at the The Business Woman of the Year luncheon held in February.
Wert Named Partner, Shareholder at GodwinGroup
Kami Wert, senior vice president and executive management team member, has become GodwinGroup’s newest partner and shareholder.
Wert co-manages the agency’s Gulf Coast office, which oversees work for clients including Hancock Bank, Mississippi Power, the Gulf Coast Regional Tourism Partnership, as well as pro bono and project work for community nonprofits such as INFINITY Science Center at NASA Stennis Space Center, Mississippi Gulf Coast YMCA, South Mississippi Chapter of the American Red Cross, and Excel By 5. She is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in speech communication. Wert joined the agency in 1997.
McNeill Appointed to Executive Committee
Senior Vice President and Group Creative Director Tal McNeill has been named to the Executive Committee of GodwinGroup.
McNeill is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts. He has more than 25 years of agency experience and has been employed with GodwinGroup since 1999. He is a past president of the Jackson Advertising Federation (JAF) and has served for seven years on the JAF board of directors.
Hawkins Named Project Manager
Don Hawkins, of the Jackson office, has been named project manager.
As project manager, Hawkins will work closely with clients to meet their marketing objectives. A native of Ocean Springs, Hawkins is a graduate of the University of Mississippi in Oxford, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Hawkins joined the agency in 2004.
